This article is about the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area located at Walt Disney Studios Park. For the Disney's Hollywood Studios area of the same name, see Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (Disney's Hollywood Studios).
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is an upcoming themed land at Walt Disney Studios Park. It is the third Star Wars-themed land, following its Disneyland equivalent and Disney's Hollywood Studios equivalent.
History
On February 27, 2018, Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company Robert A. Iger announced plans for a 2 billion euro, a multi-year expansion for Disneyland Paris alongside French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palais de l’Elysée in Paris. The new development will include a transformation of the Walt Disney Studios Park, adding three new areas: Avengers Campus, Arendelle: World of Frozen and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, along with multiple new attractions and live entertainment experiences and it will be smaller than the Florida and California versions.[1]
