Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is an upcoming American television series that will air on Disney+. It is set to be released on December 3, 2024.[1]
The series follows four kids who get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy and have to find their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies along the way.[2]
On February 4, 2022, it was reported that a brand new Star Wars series set in the High Republic era was in active development for Disney+.
On February 19, 2022, Discussing Film reported that Jon Watts would be directing at least one episode, with Jon Favreau serving as an executive producer. Production is slated to start this summer in Los Angeles.[6]
On May 26, 2022, during Star Wars Celebration, the series was officially announced as Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, with Jude Law in the lead role, and it is set to be released in 2023.[7]
On September 9, 2022, it was reported that Kyriana Kratter and Ravi Cabot-Conyers joined the cast of the series in undisclosed roles.[3]
Filming began in early September 2022, and wrapped on January 22, 2023.[8][9]
