Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an upcoming American animated Star Wars series that will act as both a sequel and spin-off to Star Wars: The Clone Wars upon the show's debut on Disney+ in 2021.
The series will center on members of Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch, from Star Wars: The Clone Wars who make their way through the galaxy to undertake missions as mercenaries and find their own purpose in the early days of the Empire.[1]

Dee Bradley Baker as Clone Force 99 / The Bad Batch: A clone commando squad consisting of clones with genetic mutations named Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, Hunter, and Echo.[2]
Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand: An elite mercenary and assassin sought by bounty hunters, a role which Wen reprises from The Mandalorian.[3]
Production
Set after the events of The Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Bad Batch will follow the titular squadron making their way through the galaxy shortly after Order 66 and the rise of the Galactic Empire. Announced in July 2020, the series will debut on Disney+ in 2021 with Dave Filoni, Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, and Jennifer Corbett serving as executive producers. Additionally, Carrie Beck will serve as co-executive producer, Josh Rimes as a producer and Brad Rau as supervising director with Jennifer Corbett as the head writer.[4][5][6][7]
