Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures is an American animated Star Wars series that aired on Disney Jr. and Disney+. It premiered on May 4, 2023.
Synopsis[]
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures follows young Younglings as they are swept off into adventures led by Yoda as they start their journeys on the path to becoming Jedi Knights, learning valuable skills for our galaxy and the galaxy far, far away. The Jedi-in-training will tackle topics of compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship[1]

On May 27, 2022, during Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm announced a new original series titled Young Jedi Adventures, set during The High Republic era before the start of the Skywalker Saga, the Original Series follows Younglings as they study the ways of the Force and become Jedi: Compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship.[2]

- This is also the first ever Star Wars animated series and Lucasfilm production for preschoolers and the first Star Wars series to be rated TV-Y.
- This is the first Disney+ original series to be rated TV-Y and also the first Disney+ original to be a Disney Junior series.
- In addition, this is the first Star Wars CGI animated series not to be animated by CGCG.
- This series introduces the Jedi Vector starfighters from The High Republic novel series.
- The series includes some of the musical scores written by John Williams for the Skywalker Saga, such as "the Force Theme" (aka "Binary Sunset").
- The series takes place 200 years before the first Star Wars film of the Skywalker Saga, The Phantom Menace.
- Piotr Michael takes over as the voice of Yoda after Tom Kane's retirement from voice acting due to his health issues.
- Cree Summer had previously appear in two Star Wars animated shows set in the Legends Continuity where she voiced Kneesa the Ewok in "Star Wars: Ewoks" and Luminara Undili in "Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003)".
