Susan "Stargirl" Caraway is the titular protagonist of Disney's 2020 musical romantic-drama film Stargirl and its 2022 sequel. She is a high schooler who befriends and later starts dating Leo Borlock. She is musically gifted and displays a free spirited attitude on life. Throughout the film, she tries to help Leo be more open and expressive while also having to deal with some of the consequences about her actions. She later moves to Los Angeles to work with Evan and Terrell Edwards on their movie, and to believe her better life with them.

Stargirl was played by singer-songwriter Grace VanderWaal in two films.

• In the original novel, Stargirl's tastes and personality where a little more outrageous, such as cheering for people for throwing litter away, attending funerals uninvited, and favoring simplistic songs, such as "The Bunny Hop".
• Joey King was originally casted as Stargirl Caraway, but she denied it, which Grace VanderWaal took over to play her.
