Starport Seven-Five also known as Tomorrowland Station MK-1 and more popularly as Space Mountain is the setting for Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland. It is the first incarnation of Space Mountain to be made in real-life development history.
History[]
Background[]
Starport Seven-Five or, "Space Mountain" is a space-for Tomorrowland, a futurist utopia likely located in California. It is unknown when Starport Seven-Five was created after 1986.[1] The structure harboured space-ships which it used, "Superspace" technology to teleport to space-stations already in outer-space, allowing for hyper-spacial travel. These rockets were generally small and utilized invisible force-fields to protect its passengers.
Starport Seven-Five would become one of two, "Space Mountains" in Tomorrowland, the other being TL Space Station 77. These star-ports would come to be two of five active Space Mountains on Earth, the other three being the Discovery Landing Station of Paris, France, the Ashita Station of Tokyo, Japan and HK Spaceport E-TKT in Hong Kong, China. The earliest Space Mountain was seemingly the Discovery Landing, a structure built in Paris' victorian science colony of, "Discoveryland" and which was created by the Baltimore Gun Club.
The Space Mountains in Tomorrowland would be operated by the League of Planets, an interstellar organization which promoted intergalactic peace and which made Tomorrowland their headquarters. Starport Seven-Five was also part of the Tomorrowland Chamber of Commerce that largely ran Tomorrowland. Another member of this chamber of commerce was the Tomorrowland Light & Power Company who had their base located adjacent and connected to Starport Seven-Five.
