Trivia[]
- This episode was broadcast in 4:3 letterbox format on Disney Channel's standard-definition feed, instead of the regular 4:3 full-screen pan and scan picture format (the second episode of the series to be aired in this manner, after "Lost at Sea" from earlier in the season). The episode is an homage to Star Trek.
- Emma Tutweiler being shown as an attractive purple woman was likely homage to early Star Trek episodes which had a race of attractive green women, known as Orions.
- When the robot "repairing" Moseby, not knowing he is a human, takes off its helmet and reveals itself as Ms. Tutweiler, may have been tribute to the Nintendo space adventure game Metroid, which ends by the the hero's armor being removed to show a woman in a leotard, showing the hero was a woman and not a cyborg.
- The title is a reference to the sci-fi movie Star Ship Troopers.
