Hodge was born in Wilmington, Ohio. She attended the Wilmington College and Ohio State University. She starred in a number of television sitcoms in 90s, like Sugar and Spice, My Talk Show, Nurses, and Muddling Through. After leaving Unhappily Ever After, Hodge appeared in the 2001 film, Evolution, and later guest-starred on Reba, NCIS, and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
In The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, she portrays Brianna's mom.
In Good Luck Charlie, she portrays Miss Covington.
In Dog With a Blog, she portrays Gator Adams.
