Steven "Steve" Blanchard is an American stage actor and singer, who, for Disney, played both Gaston and the Beast in the musical Beauty and the Beast, the latter of which he played both on Broadway and on tour for eleven years. He also played Joseph Pulitzer in a tour of Newsies; a performance that was re-captured in Newsies: A Broadway Musical.

Blanchard was born in Maryland and attended the University of Maryland as well as the Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts in Washington, D.C. Upon completing school, he performed in dinner theatre and various stock productions throughout the 1980s before finally gaining his first Broadway role in the 1993 revival of Camelot. His other stage credits include The Threepenny Opera, Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Johnny Guitar, Frankenstein, a New Musical, Annie Get Your Gun, South Pacific, Alan Menken's A Christmas Carol, Little House on the Prairie, and 42nd Street.

He has also appeared on television guest spots for shows, such as One Life to Live, Guiding Light, Another World, Law & Order, Third Watch, The Good Fight, New Amsterdam, Madam Secretary, House of Cards, The Enemy Within, Prodigal Son, and The Blacklist. He also appeared in films, such as Dark Vengeance, Those Who Wander, and Cover Me.
