Steven Edward "Steve" Loter is an American director and producer, who is known for his animated work in television.

For Disney, he has directed several episodes of Kim Possible, the first one being Season 2's "The Ron Factor". During seasons three and four, he produced the show, along with the series creators Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle.

He also directed American Dragon: Jake Long, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, as well as the Tinker Bell film series. He currently serves as executive producer of the Disney Channel series The Ghost and Molly McGee and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

Trivia[]

  • Loter was set to co-direct with Sunil Hall a Cars spin-off film called Metro for DisneyToon Studios, with Raphael Saadiq composing the score.[1] The film, which would have had a "grittier" tone than the rest of the franchise,[2] was set to star Jermaine Fowler.[1]
