Stitch's Spacesuit was a suit given to Stitch by Jumba Jookiba to wear when the former is out wreaking havoc in Lilo & Stitch.
Background
Stitch was first seen wearing it at the start of Jumba's trial. He still wore it after he escaped from his cell in a stolen federal police cruiser, and when he crash landed on Earth in Hawaii.
Aside from going out to cause chaos, given Stitch's programming, the suit doesn't seem to have any defensive capabilities, possibly given his genetic abilities, as the suit was torn apart when he was run over by a convoy of trucks.
The only use that the suit is capable of is weapon accessory, as it is able hold up to four plasma blasters.
In Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, the suit reappeared in Stitch's nightmare of turning evil again. It appeared again in a flashback of Jumba creating Stitch, where the scientist gave it to him.
In The Origin of Stitch, it reappeared on Jumba's computer, showing the data of Stitch with an image of him wearing it, and during a simulation of Stitch's capabilities.
It appeared again in Disney's Stitch: Experiment 626, as Stitch is seen wearing it throughout the game.
Trivia
- In Lilo & Stitch, the suit is capable of holding four plasma blasters, despite the possible question of how the cannons fit into the suit's patches.
- Ironically, even though the suit was torn apart upon Stitch being run over, the suit survived when Stitch crash landed onto Hawaii.
- Despite the suit not appearing in gameplay, it appeared on several video game covers, including Lilo & Stitch for Game Boy Advance, Lilo & Stitch: Trouble in Paradise, and Lilo & Stitch 2: Hämsterviel Havoc.
- In the video game Stitch Jam, a two-armed variant of the spacesuit appears as an unlockable outfit for Stitch. Likewise, Angel, Reuben and Felix all can wear their own variants of the same suit (Reuben's spacesuit is colored purple, Felix's spacesuit is colored blue, and Angel's spacesuit is colored white with heart symbols replacing the yellow pads).
- In the mobile game Disney Heroes: Battle Mode, Stitch (referred to as "Experiment 626") can wear his spacesuit as an alternate costume. Oddly, while this game's version renders the spacesuit as a two-armed variant, it briefly becomes the familiar four-armed original when Stitch uses his special skill.
