Storm (real name Ororo Munroe) is one of the main characters who appear in the Marvel Studios Animation series X-Men '97, continuing from where the 1992 X-Men animated series ended. She is a mutant with the ability to control the weather.
Storm was created by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum.

Personality[]
Storm is a responsible person who is an effective leader of the X-Men. She is always seeking the best way through any situation. She is often witty when simply talking to her fellow X-Men and does seem to have a good sense of humor. She has a great deal of self-control, as her powers are controlled by her emotions.
Despite being a brave and capable hero, Storm suffers from intense claustrophobia. When she was a child, a fighter jet crashed into her parents' house, killing them and burying her alive under tons of rubble. She survived but was left traumatised. Whenever she finds herself in confined spaces, she freaks out and loses control over her powers.
Physical appearance[]
Storm is a white-haired Black woman with blue eyes, which become clear white when she is using her powers. She wears very revealing forms.
Powers and abilities[]
Storm is a mutant with powers to control the weather and all of its elements included, such as wind, ice, fog, and lightning. In "Mutant Liberation Begins" Storm lost her powers after taking a hit from a depowering radiation blast, and would not regain them until "Lifedeath Pt. 2".
- Weather Manipulation: Storm's mutant power allows her to have control and contact with the weather, changing it quickly and easily.
- Flight: Storm is capable of flying. She demonstrated that she can fly while using other powers.
- Wind Manipulation: Storm is able to create and control wind through its meteorological powers. She used this power a lot to steal, push enemies away with blows of air, and even lift and move objects and living beings from places in the wind.
- Electrokinesis: Storm can generate and control electrical energy, using this power in combat to fire strong electrical beams at its targets. She also proves to be able to absorb electricity. Storm can also generate multiple lightning bolts at once through storm clouds.
- Ice Manipulation: Storm can generate ice and snow-laden gusts of wind.
