This article is about the song from Elvis Presley. For other pages, see Stuck on You.
"Stuck on You" is an Elvis Presley song performed in the film Lilo & Stitch. It was Elvis' first hit single after his two-year stint in the US Army, reaching number one in 1960. The song is heard while Lilo and Stitch are exploring the town, and it illustrates the fact that Stitch is stuck with Lilo as he tries to avoid being captured by Jumba Jookiba and Pleakley.
The song was also previously used as a DTV music video on The Disney Channel in the 1980s. The music video was set to clips from the shorts Donald and Pluto, Pantry Pirate, Self Control, Beach Picnic, Primitive Pluto, A Gentleman's Gentleman, Bubble Bee, Pluto's Sweater, and Food for Feudin'. This video was also included on the compilation video DTV: Pop and Rock.
Lyrics[]
You can shake an apple off an apple tree
Shake-a, shake- sugar,
But you'll never shake me
Uh-uh-uh
No-sir-ee, uh, uh
I'm gonna stick like glue,
Stick because I'm
Stuck on you
I'm gonna run my fingers through your long black hair
Squeeze you tighter than a grizzly bear
Uh-uh-uh,
Yes-sir-ee, uh, uh
I'm gonna stick like glue
Stick, because I'm
Stuck on you
Hide in the kitchen, hide in the hall
Ain't gonna do you no good at all
'Cause once I catch ya and the kissin' starts
A team o' wild horses couldn't tear us apart
Try to take a tiger from his daddy's side
That's how love is gonna keep us tied
Uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh
Oh yeah
Uh-uh-uh
I'm gonna stick like glue
Stick, because I'm
Stuck on you
Hide in the kitchen, hide in the hall
Ain't gonna do you no good at all
'Cause once I catch ya and the kissin' starts
A team o' wild horses couldn't tear us apart
Try to take a tiger from his daddy's side
That's how love is gonna keep us tied
Uh-uh-uh
Yes-sir-ee, uh,uh
I'm gonna stick like glue
Yeah yeah, because I'm
Stuck on you
I'm gonna stick like glue
Yeah yeah, because I'm
Stuck on you
I'm gonna stick like glue
Yeah yeah, because I'm
Stuck on you
