"Summer of Cumple" is the second segment of the twenty-first episode of Primos.
Synopsis[]
Tater celebrates her first double-digit birthday.
Plot[]
It's June 23, which means that Tater is now officially ten years old. She is surprised to find that her bedroom is empty and goes downstairs to find the whole family in a panic. Baby Bud has contracted the chicken pox and it looks like Nellie may have gotten it too. Seeing as how none the primos have gotten chicken pox either, the parents are forced to rush Baby Bud and Nellie out the door to the doctor's. Before leaving, they regrettably tell Tater that Serena will also not be coming over as a safety measure. Tater is deflated by the situation. Not wanting to see her sad, the primos decide to throw together a party on the spot for her.
Despite their limited stock, the primos manage to bring together a relatively good looking party for Tater who is excited. She then reveals that one of her biggest dreams was to have a pony to ride on. Big Nacho and Cousin Bud quickly throw together a pony costume for Tater to ride, though the pathetic costume rips apart. The primos are disappointed, but Tater appears all too happy and they continue the festivities. The primos next put together a video saying how great Tater is, but they can only use old footage and edit it together to make it be about Tater. Despite the weak effort, Tater likes the video.
Finally, the primos put together a "water park", made up of whatever they have on hand. Tater enjoys it, even though it ends with the whole thing falling apart in ruins. Feeling bad, the primos force Toñita to give up her cupcake she have been coveting to make it up to Tater. To their surprise, Tater is far from upset and is overjoyed by how things turned out, saying it wouldn't be a party without them. Buela returns, having acquired a burro for Tater, while the parents come back revealing that Baby Bud simply had stress rashes and that Nellie had her first pimple. Bibi pulls out another cake as everyone celebrates Tater's tenth birthday.

- Cumple is Spanish for several things including "to turn", "to accomplish", "to achieve", and "to complete", among other things. However within the context of the episode, it is actually the first half of Cumpleaños, which means birthday (complete year). The episode itself translates it to "Birthday Summer".
- This episode was the premise of the pilot episode.
- Tater turns ten in this episode.
- This episode immediately takes place after the previous one, "Summer of Local Girl". Because of this, this episode takes place on June 23.
- This should also technically mean that this episode takes place a week after "Summer of Herramientas", though due to the episodic nature of the series, this is inconsequential.
