"Summer of Ignacio" is the second segment of the fourteenth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Primos.

Synopsis[]

Tater and Nachito help Big Nacho prepare to meet his penpal Carmela.

Plot[]

Big Nacho is nervous as after having written to his penpal Carmela for a long time, she now wants to see him in person. Despite promoting himself as a tough young man, he is worried how she will react to seeing him as the gassy, chubby boy he really is. Tater, overhearing this, decides that she wants to help him out for his first big date with Carmela, believing that it will help her achieve her final form. Nachito also wants to help out, as usual, as he and Tater train Nacho on how to act on his first date. Tater comes to the conclusion that to make Nacho seem better than what he is, they will artificially create scenarios for Nacho to perform in front of Carmela.

The group head to the Fresadena Mall where Big Nacho meets Carmela in person. The two immediately hit it off and Tater enacts her first plan, knocking a statue over so that Nacho can push it back into place. After that successful stunt, Nachito pretends to be a hurt boy so that Nacho can pay for a paleta, but Hector the vendor gives it to him for free. During this time, Nacho begins to act more like himself around Carmela, who in turn reveals that she has similar traits as him, such as their ability to lift. Carmela eventually figures out that Nachito and Tater are around and Nacho politely tells them that he just wants some alone time with Carmela.

Tater is angered and upset that Nacho refuses to go by the planned set up she had, but Nachito explains that Nacho seems happy and that they should not do anything further. Tater hijacks a trackless train so that Nacho can prove his strength again, but after imagining him thanking her for helping him out, she halts her plan (which wouldn't have worked anyway due to the trackless train's slow speed). Tater apologizes for trying to turn his date into something its not, and Nacho and Carmela welcome her and Nachito to join them. When Nacho accidentally farts, Carmela reveals that she is capable of letting out a much larger one, proving that they were meant for each other.
