"Summer of La Muñeca" is the second segment of the second episode of the Disney Channel animated series Primos.

Synopsis[]

Tater discovers the perfect primo-repellant in Lotlot's creepy doll.

Plot[]

Tater is struggling with the constant barrage of primos invading her space. Having grown tired, Buela tells her that she has "Mal de Ojo" (Evil Eye), and is cursed. Tater suddenly realizes that everything is quiet and discovers that LotLot has brought out her creepy dolly, aptly named Dolly. LotLot admits that the other primos don't like to be around her when she plays with Dolly because of her creepy appearance. While Tater is also creeped out, she realizes that Dolly is exactly what she needs to keep the other primos away and asks if she could borrow her. LotLot reluctantly agrees, but gives her rules to stick to, otherwise Dolly would have a bad reaction.

True to her hopes, Tater finds that Dolly is the perfect primo repellent and brings her everywhere she goes for some peace and quiet. Tater puts Dolly at her door while she draw fanart, only for Dolly to suddenly appear on her bed. She puts her in the closet, but hears Dolly calling to be let out, creeping Tater out. She goes downstairs to watch TV, or tries to after Gordita removes the TV's wiring, and sees Dolly crawling over the sofa in the screen's reflection. After going upstairs, Tater examines Dolly again, only for spiders to crawl out of her mouth, frighting Tater into running next door to her grandmother.

Tater explains to Buela about Dolly and she gets to work trying to remove whatever it is that is cursing the doll. Dolly seemingly comes to life and begins flying in the air, forcing Buela to use flaming sage to defeat it. The two hear coughing and discover LotLot hiding under the table. All of Dolly's creepy happenings are revealed to have been LotLot pulling a prank on Tater, with the exception of the TV incident. LotLot explains that she understands that Tater would rather be alone and that she feels that way too. They both agree that they can spend more time being "alone together" and make up. Buela throws Dolly away when it begins acting creepy again.
