"Summer of La Trabajadora" is the second segment of the fifth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Primos.
Synopsis[]
Tater shadows her cool cousin Lita as she goes about her three jobs.
Plot[]
The primos are all together at their usual pizza hangout, but have been waiting a long time to get their pizza. Lita points out to the rest of the primos that the place is in utter disrepair and in need of attention. Having waited so long, Lita announces that she has to go to her three jobs. Tater is impressed by this and Lita reveals that she is in the process of trying to earn money so that she can achieve her goal of being a rock star. Tater comes to the conclusion that she might want to go into business and become a business woman. Tater asks that she accompany Lita to her jobs and she agrees to it, much to her delight.
Lita's first job is food delivery person and reveals that she has kept numerous food orders in the back seat of her car, something which bothers Tater. Not only that, but Lita simply tosses the food out the window and even misses the houses that she was supposed to deliver to. Tater attempts to block out the negative reviews, but this causes Lita to get fired. They head to her next job which is working at a clothing store. While things seem fine at first, a misplaced iron causes the store to suddenly burn down. The two head to the last job which is a dull business office and learn that Lita will have to interview for it due to the place over-hiring the staff.
Not wanting Lita to lose her dream, Tater dresses her up so that she can be a success, but discovers that she did not go in for the interview as she felt that she was losing a part of herself. Tater admits that she was worried she would lose he dream, but Lita thanks Tater for opening her eyes to being more self-reserved about who she is. As they drive away, Tater suddenly gets the idea that Lita should work at the pizza place. Lita is immediately hired, due to being able to successfully deliver the pizzas. Not only that, but she can perform as part of the pizza place's band, getting closer to her true dream.
