"Summer of Los Diez" is the first segment of the third episode of the Disney Channel animated series Primos.
Synopsis[]
Tater is inspired by a "10-Under-10" list of impressive kids.
Plot[]
Tater is stuck watching Cake Island with her primos who are drawn to the reality show's premise. Still not having uncovered what she wants to do on her vision board, she sees an ad for Biz Kid Magazine's 10-under-10. Gordita explains that every year the magazine picks out ten kids who have accomplished something before they reach the age of 10. Tater, who is still 9-years-old, decides that she will find what her talent is and film herself so that she can send it in and get recognized. Gordita agrees to be her camera girl to study her progress, but also because she is assured that Tater will fail in her quest and wants to capture her disappointment.
Tater and Gordita visit Buela and Pop to see if they can get a video camera. Pop, who has finally woken up and has begun flipping tires to improve his body strength, gives them a camera, but tells Tater that she has her whole life to decide what she wants to do with herself. Tater is dissatisfied with this comment and proceeds to go through with her training, failing spectacularly. Tater decides that she will ride a unicycle over the Crevasse while performing a variety of things, having lost her mind, much to her primos' concern. Pop agrees to take all the kids to the Crevasse while giving tater juice to drink.
Tater is clearly afraid of actually performing the stunt as Pop finally tells her to finish her juice so that she can think clearly. He urges her to cease her deranged plan, mainly because they both need to pee and agree to go back. Not wanting to disappoint the primos, Pop agrees to do the exact stunt that Tater wanted to do, surprising everyone. Pop's stunt ends up on Biz Senior Magazine's 7-under-70 where he thanks Tater for the inspiration. Tater, technically, gets on TV, but her head is turned away from the camera and she is identified as "Local Girl", though she is still excited that she got some recognition, which Gordita commends.
