"Summer of Santa Tabi" is the second segment of the twenty-second episode of Primos.
Synopsis[]
Tater tries to help Tere and Toñita show their big sis Tabi how much they appreciate her.
Plot[]
While Bibi makes Tater and Nellie morning oatmeal, Tere and Toñita come down confused by the lack of a toilet seat warmer and no Acai bowls for them. The others have no idea what they are talking about, but they appear lost ever since Tabi broke her ankle while trying to carry Toñita up the stairs. Tater takes Tabi morning oatmeal for her and Tabi awakens in a panic. It turns out that every morning, she would set things for Tere and Toñita to make their stay nice and so that they do not feel homesick. The younger T Sisters are shocked by this revelation and with Tater's help, decide that they want to give back in some way.
Tater suggests that Tere and Toñita simply give Tabi a gift of some kind. They resolve to get her a mug that says that she is their #1 sister. While it briefly causes her to panic (she thought she missed a day), they tell her it was simply to show their thanks. Tabi ends up using it as a toothbrush holder, much to the other sisters' grief. They next decide to hire Bibi to make a painting of Tabi, which she agrees to, but the younger T Sisters are disappointed that it is of Tabi helping them, which Bibi says is because Tabi insisted. Tere and Toñita realize that Tater's relationship with her younger siblings is flawed and opt to not listen to her.
Tere and Toñita ask Bibi for advice where she tells them that they need to tell Tabi how much they appreciate her. With Big Nacho's help, the two decide to hold an intervention for Tabi. They appreciate all that she has done for them, but they do not want her to constantly put herself in stressful situations, though they admit that they like her attentiveness. The three proceed to do their video call to their father Ivan, completing their weekly task of keeping tabs and not feeling homesick. Tater, in the meantime, suggests similar appreciation from Nellie and Baby Bud, but they resort to having her also make the toilet seat warm in the morning.
