"Summer of Taternomics" is the second segment of the fifteenth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Primos.
Synopsis[]
Tater turns Scooter's sewing talents into profit.
Plot[]
While up in her attic hiding spot with Garage Possum, Tater announces her intent to help expand on her final form by going into business. The only problem is that she needs to figure out what kind of business she needs to run. She has an encounter with Cousin Bud who enigmatically tells her that in order to start a business, she needs to find a need that people want and exploit that want for profit. Tater goes into the living room to get inspiration from her primos and learns that Scooter has been making Lucharitos (small lucha plushies). After seeing that Big Nacho likes it, Tater decides to make this her business.
Tater convinces Scooter to go into business with her by suggesting that they can use the money they earn to buy him a new pair to skates for El Patín 2.0. Tater and Scooter get the primos together to help create a website and then an ad for it, resulting in them getting orders. They begin to make numerous Lucharitos and meet the order requirements. Tater plans to continue their business, but Scooter explains that they have already met their goal and will stop. Tater refuses, especially after seeing that someone ordered 1001. Tater tries to convince Scooter to continue their work, but he refuses, as does the other primos.
Tater buys several blank dolls, using the money they earned to purchase them, so that they can make more in a hurry. Scooter scolds her for her selfish actions and ask if she was ever interested in helping him. Realizing that she has gone too far, Tater admits to her fault as she wanted to become a successful CEO, which Scooter promises will happen eventually. Tater cancels the order (revealed to have come from the Skid in a failed bid to humiliate her) and LotLot suddenly pops up with money to buy all the blank dolls (she wants to recreate her own haunted doll island). Cousin Bud accidentally reveals that he has an island for tax purposes, confusing Tater.
