Billy, Zeke and Marsha must find their way back to the Cheeserator using their "Survival Skills".

Marsha and Zeke awaken to see Billy flying in on a vine. He discovered a bog that he suggests that they use to go swimming. Before they do so however, a giant pteranodon appears out of nowhere and picks them up to bring them back to its nest. Upon landing, the trio believe they are doomed, but Billy suddenly remembers that he brought his pull string doll of Mr. Whatzit from Mr. Whatzit's Kaleidoscope of Wonders. While Zeke is cynical, Marsha considers it a good luck charm for Billy. He pulls the string where he says, "Take flight; Science is out of sight!", which Billy interprets as meaning that they must build a whirly gig using the left over egg shells.
They manage to escape the nest, but fall straight into a giant thorn bush. They discover that making sounds causes the thorns to fire out at them. Billy asks Mr. Whatzit and he says "Let your curiosity run wild!", forcing the group to ironically run away. After escaping on a giant stone slab, they fall off and Billy consults Mr. Whatzit's pocket compass which actually does not do anything. Annoyed at Billy's behavior, Zeke grabs the doll and tosses it away. Billy jumps after it and falls down a cliff. Shortly afterward, Zeke and Marsha encounter a giant spider and Billy finds Mr. Whatzit on a log floating down a river.
Zeke and Marsha land in a spider's web and call for Billy, who believes that it could just be the love calling of the three toed orangutanasaurus. He finally catches up to Mr. Whatzit, but cannot ignore the call of his friends. Mr. Whatzit says "You're friends need you!" and Billy lets him go to rescue his friends. After knocking away the spider, Billy launches himself and his friends all the way back to the Cheeserator. They begin to snack on essentials before deciding to build a pretty good looking shelter out of the left over scrap from the machine. Anaximander flies in on a paraglider to deliver Mr. Whatzit back to Billy.
