"Swim Suit" is the second segment of the fifty-ninth episode of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. It premiered on March 17, 2019 alongside "Moon Remembers".
Synopsis
Star and Marco plan their beach day, but Eclipsa needs Star's help with an unexpected problem.
Plot
Star, Marco and Tom are getting ready for the fated Beach Day, but Marco is having trouble finding his swim suit. Eclipsa comes and asks for Star's assistance with something and she reluctantly obliges. They head to Globgor's chamber where an unconscious and spell covered Rhombulus is being held. Eclipsa reveals that she had asked Rhombulus to free Globgor, but he refused. An argument broke out, resulting in Rhombulus' current state. Not knowing what to do, Eclipsa took his body back for Star to figure out. Glossaryck adds that he was the one who told Eclipsa to talk to Star and tries helping out Marco by allowing him one of his swim suits, though the small size begins to affect the circulation in his legs. Annoyed, Star tells Eclipsa to just do all her spells in reverse to free Rhombulus
Rhombulus, understandably is upset over what has just transpired and gets into another argument with Eclipsa. Star tells them to sit down and talk it over like adults. As she is about to leave, the two get into another fight and begin blasting spells at each other. Marco comes in asking for help, but Star is hit with a sleep spell. Tom enters telling Marco that his swim suit was stolen by the monkey from "Escape from the Pie Folk", but he is hit with a spell that causes him to become self aware and doubtful of his appearance. Marco finally manages to wake Star up who tells Marco and Tom to leave and tries to talk Rhombulus down from fighting.
Eclipsa uses a body switching spell on Rhombulus in an attempt to free Globgor, but Star reaches out to her telling her that if Rhombulus does not trust her what makes her think that she will. Coming to her senses, Eclipsa switches back with Rhombulus. Angry at being violated, he does not accept her apology and makes sure that Globgor is still sealed away for good. Eclipsa admits that she needs to think about her people first. Star returns to Marco and Tom, defeated by the days events. Feeling sorry for her, they throw an indoor beach day, much to her pleasure.
