Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, known for his unusually slurred voice caused by his half-face paralysis. He is best known for his titular roles as Rocky Balboa and John Rambo in the Rocky film series and Rambo franchise (respectively). He is also well-known for playing Gabriel "Gabe" Walker in the 1993 action film Cliffhanger (alongside John Lithgow) and Barney Ross, the main protagonist of The Expendables franchise. Additionally, he voiced Weaver in the 1998 DreamWorks animated film Antz, Joe the Lion in Zookeeper, and Victor Von Ion in the 2016 film adaptation of Ratchet & Clank.
For Disney, he guest-starred in Episode 320 of The Muppet Show. He also portrayed Angelo "Snaps" Provolone in Oscar and Stakar Ogord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Additionally, Stallone's roles as Rocky Balboa and John Rambo from their respective film series were spoofed by Scuttle in The Little Mermaid TV series, Genie in Aladdin and the King of Thieves (later in the Aladdin TV series), Quack Pack by Donald Duck, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers by Dale as Ramdale, and Timon & Pumbaa by Timon. In one episode of Aladdin, Iago and Abu were seen imitating his role as Rambo, while in another by Abis Mal. The Disney animators later used recordings of him as Rambo in Disney's Raw Toonage, a rooster soldier named Rambones.
