Tai the Elephant was an animal actress. She made numerous appearances in film, some of which she was uncredited for, such as Quest for Fire, Annie, Big Top Pee-wee, Larger than Life, The Scorpion King, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Vanity Fair, Exit Through the Gift Shop, and Westworld.
For Disney, she appeared as herself in The Magical World of Disney special "Disneyland's All-Star Comedy Circus". She later appeared in Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book, played Bo Tat in Operation Dumbo Drop, Shep in George of the Jungle and its sequel, Circus Elephant in Meet the Deedles, Colonel Hathi in The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story, and had a cameo in Bedtime Stories. Additionally, she played Rosie in the 20th Century Fox film Water for Elephants.
