Greg is the protagonist of the 2020 Disney•Pixar short film Out. He is a gay man who is struggling with coming out to his parents.

Personality[]
Greg is usually a well-adjusted young man with a very caring heart and personality. However, he is also unsure of being open with those close to him. Based on what his mother says, he used to be very open with his parents and tell them everything. It is heavily implied that upon him coming to terms with his homosexuality, that he started to retreat somewhat. It is only through the intervention of the cosmic animals that he is finally able to confront his feelings and emotions to his parents.
Physical appearance[]
Greg is a tall Caucasian man with reddish-brown hair and a beard. He wears a yellow flannel shirt and denim jeans for much of the short. Accompanying his look is a blue ushanka that he apparently loves to wear.
Role in the short[]
Greg approaches Manuel who shows him a picture of his relationship with him which Greg replies to him that he will keep his promise to him just before Greg approaches his mother who made him pizza casserole, much to Greg telling Manuel about this. As Manuel shows Greg the relationship between him and Manuel, Greg hears his mother calling him to enjoy pizza casserole which she tells him that her husband drove down to finish packing which as Greg's mother asks her son to know where she would start her conversation, she then chooses the kitchen. Back at his room, Greg talks to his dog, Jim, which Greg thinks of his plan to introduce Manuel to his parents. Greg wears Jim's collar where he starts having the personality of a dog in his own body which Greg's mother continues cooking the casserole for her family.
As Greg's mother tells her son that his casserole is ready, he does not notice that his favorite food is cooked which Jim notices that Greg is wearing his collar, which Jim plans to retrieve her collar only for Greg's mother to unawarely close the door while Greg chases a squirrel nearby. After Jim (who has the personality of Greg) bites Greg's mother, she approaches Greg's mother who is stressed out during the move and to her frustration, she talks about her sadness of her son moving away which reminds Jim of her owner Greg which Jim returns to Greg's room just as she sees Greg (who is under control by Jim) only for Greg to escape just as Jim approaches her owner, she grabs her collar from Greg, causing Jim and Greg to both return to normal. Jim then shows Greg the photo of his relationship with Manuel on his photo. Later that night, Greg introduces Manuel to his parents while Greg, his parents, and Manuel all enjoy a barbecue night together while Jim continues playing with her penguin toy.

- He is the second LGBT protagonist in Disney media, after Luz Noceda from The Owl House.
