J.K. Simmons

Jonathan Kimble "J.K." Simmons is an American actor and voice actor, who is best known for his roles as Dr. Emil Skoda in the Law & Order TV franchise, Vernon Schillinger in the HBO drama series Oz, and J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film trilogy. He also played Terence Fletcher in the 2014 psychological drama film Whiplash (in which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor). Additionally, he voiced Skip in the 2009 sci-fi comedy film Aliens in the Attic, Cave Johnson in the Portal 2 video game Tenzin in the Avatar spin-off series The Legend of Korra, and Kai, the main antagonist of DreamWorks' Kung Fu Panda 3. He is also the current voice of Yellow, the "spokescandy" character in the M&M's commercials.

For Disney, he reprised his recurring role as J. Jonah Jameson in the TV series The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., as well as the Marvel films Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home. He also voiced Seizaemon in the English dub of Studio Ghibli's Pom Poko, Martin Smarty in Kim Possible, J.B. and Napoleon in Phineas and Ferb, Stanford Pines in Gravity Falls, and Mayor Lionheart in the 2016 Disney animated film Zootopia. Additionally, he played Siskel in the 1994 Touchstone Pictures film The Ref, Buffalo Bill Cody in Hidalgo, Garth Pancake in The Ladykillers, a Souvenir Hawker in the 1998 Miramax film Celebrity, Ray Kendall in The Cider House Rules, and Brian Huggins in Extract. He also voiced Captain Putty in the 2022 hybrid film Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers.
