Talon Labarthe is Skinner's slick and sophisticated lawyer who is first seen when Skinner shockingly finds out Linguini is Gusteau's son. Finding a hair in the late chef's hat, Labarthe performs a DNA test and confirms that Linguini is Gusteau's son. He was able to keep calm when Skinner loses control of himself after hearing about that situation, and is very stride and confident to do so. He advises Skinner to wait out the will's two year deadline and he can fire Linguini and nobody shall ever know about it. He is not seen anywhere else in the film.
- He isn't an antagonist, though he is just neutral as he is siding with Skinner and isn't shown being antagonistic towards Linguini and the rest of the chefs. In fact, he isn't aware of Remy and the other rats being involved in the film.
