Tangaroa-Ru, the Goddess of the East Wind, is one of the Tiki Goddesses in the pre-show of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. She travels with Hina Kuluua to spread wind and rain across the seven seas.

According to the sign near Tangaroa-Ru, it is said that Tangaroa-Ru's gentle breeze makes flowers sing and tikis happy. It is also said that Tangaroa-Ru casta a spell on flying birds whose joyous songs speak wisdom words.
Role in Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room[]
Tangaroa-Ru's introduction begins after Pele and Ngendei introduce themselves to the guests. As her introduces herself, she explains that she calls her the Goddess of the East Wind, followed by Hina Kuluua who introduces herself as the Goddess of Rain. Tangaroa-Ru then continues her introduction explaining that she and Hina travel together through the tropics across the seven seas while the latter tells guests to come closer of what magic may be seen in fantasy.
The sign next to Tangaroa-Ru herself reads:
Her gentle breeze on a tropic isle

And casts a spell on flying birds
