Maria Vasquez appears in the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man episode "Secret Identity Crisis", alongside her boyfriend James Sanders. Both are small time criminals (whom Spider-Man fittingly calls "Bonnie and Clyde), who after pulling off a heist, pay off Otto Octavius and are gifted a pair of weapon enhancements. In Vasquez's case, she gets a pair of weaponized gauntlets that produce two cyber blades. She and Sanders go on a crime spree before they are stopped by Spider-Man who, with the aid of Norman Osborn, puts an end to them when he trips Sanders on a zip line and webs him and Vasquez together. The close proximity of their weapons, results in them shortening out and they are arrested. Vasquez, who was growing frustrated with her partner, angrily declares, "My mother was right about you!"
