"Tarzan and the New Wave" is the twenty-fifth episode of The Legend of Tarzan. It originally aired on UPN on October 1, 2001.
Plot[]
A schooner is sinking and on board are Jane's friends Greenly, Eleanor, Hazel, and Greenly's fiancé Henry. Eleanor and Hazel do not think Henry is very 'well rounded' and hope exposing him to Tarzan can toughen him up. Henry's bravery, resourcefulness, and manliness are put to the test when the four are swept away into the jungle by a tidal wave caused by an earthquake.

- This episode chronologically takes place after the events of "Tarzan and the British Invasion", as Greenly, Eleanor, and Hazel have already met Tarzan by this time.
- In one scene, Greenly finds Professor Porter's boxer shorts among the items that are scattered around the jungle following the tidal wave floods. However, since this series is set in the 1900s, boxer shorts weren't really invented until 1925.
