Teen Riley

Teen Riley (also as Paper Teen Riley or Paper Riley in short) is a character featured in the Inside Out franchise, first introduced in the 2024 Pixar animated series Dream Productions.

Background[]

Physical appearance[]

In her imaginative state, Teen Riley is a simplistic, anime-inspired drawing, of Riley Andersen as a teenager, on notepad paper. She has cyan colored hair, and her outfit consists of a black button shirt, a pink band, a black skirt, pink leggings, and black boots. Interestingly, when put through the dream filter, her hair turns green.

Personality[]

Teen Riley is Riley's projected idea of who she will be in the future. She is very perky and upbeat and considers herself a humanist who works for the UN and takes care of puppies "for the UN". While she was willing to go along with repeating Riley's insecurities in a nightmare, she was honest enough to acknowledge that Riley was wearing a nice dress.

Role in the series[]

Teen Riley appears in the series "Part 3: Romance!", where she works as a barista at the club "Café Maturity" together with a French puppy.

And in the episode "Part 4: A Night to Remember", she becomes Riley's dream actress at Jean's request.

Teen Riley's model were reused Riley as 13 years old from Inside Out 2.
In the Paper Teen Riley version, her dyed hair is a similar to the new emotion Envy's color scheme. And in the dream filter version, her colored hair resembled to the original emotion Disgust's color scheme.
Her colored outfits are black and pink which is very closely reference to the popular K-pop group named BLACKPINK.
