"Thanks, But No Pranks" is the second segment of the thirty-seventh episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hamster & Gretel.
On September 18, 2024, the episode was released early on Disney+.
Synopsis[]
Kevin and Anthony's desire to be on a prank show threatens their friendship.
Plot[]
While at the mall, Anthony pulls a prank on Kevin with the intention of uploading it to the channel of Hank Franklin, who is holding a contest for the best prank, with the winner receiving a scooter. With both boys wanting the scooter, they spend much of the afternoon pulling pranks on each other. Meanwhile, Gretel and Bailey are building a birdhouse, but fearing that the lack of sufficient space for all of the birds in the neighborhood will lead to a "bird war," they decide to expand it.
Taking a break from pranks, Kevin and Anthony spend some time in Kevin's bedroom, but their friendly rivalry turns into a bitter rivalry when Kevin destroys Anthony's city in Buildingcraft and Kevin's laptop is destroyed when he drops it due to being glued to his cushion. They later appear at the Hanky Pranky showdown as the contest's finalists, where Hank Franklin reveals that the competition is part of his plan to coat the city in stinky liquid as revenge for being repeatedly pranked throughout high school. After notifying Gretel, she, Hamster, and Bailey use their knowledge of structural engineering to divert the course of the liquid to only affect Hank.
Having settled their argument, Kevin and Anthony offer each other the scooter before eventually agreeing to share it. Meanwhile, Gretel and Bailey have completed their expanded birdhouse, only to inadvertently spark a bird war anyway.
