Synopsis[]

Pepper Ann wins the Tuffstitute Teacher contest, which means that Mama Destructo will replace her least favorite teacher for a whole week. Mama Destructo replaces Abriola Stark, the 7th grade math teacher. Mama Destructo is terrible in math, and Pepper Ann doesn't want to say anything about it because Mama Destructo was so excited to teach the class.

Plot[]

Pepper Ann wins the Tuffstitute Teacher Contest, meaning that her favorite wrestling champion Mama Destructo will replace her least favorite teacher who will be sent on vacation. All of Pepper Ann's teachers try to make themselves look bad for her to get it, forcing her to pull a name out of the hat, which ends up being Abriola Stark. Mama Destructo arrives and reveals that she was inspired to teach from her own teacher and gladly takes up the math class. However, it quickly becomes apparent that Mama Destructo has zero understanding of math, which causes Nicky to become sick.

Mama Destructo takes up residence at the Pearson house where she once again relates her love of teaching. However, Pepper Ann finds that she does not have the heart to tell her the truth. The more she gets wrong in math, the sicker Nicky becomes. The only thing that Mama Destructo explains well however is how to properly act in the ring. When Mama Destructo sends Nicky to the principal's office, Pepper Ann asks for advice on telling someone the truth. Mama Destructo tells her that she is "spunky" and therefore can say anything. Pepper Ann tells her that she is a bad teacher, making her sad.

Pepper Ann manages to catch Mama Destructo at the bus station just before she is about to leave. She tells her that even though she was bad at teaching math, she should not give up on teaching so easily. She takes her back to the school where the students have picked up her tips on wrestling really well and Pepper Ann suggests that she drop teaching math to focus on what she is good at. Sometime later, Mama Destructo opens a wrestling school with Pepper Ann and friends as students, though Nicky finds herself up against Shelf McClain.
