"That Stinking Feeling" is the twenty-ninth episode of Aladdin that aired on October 8, 1994. It is the fourth episode to air on CBS.
Plot
Iago, Abu, and Carpet go to the Forbidden Oasis and find a giant golden ring attached to an area in the oasis. When Abu and Iago are about to get the ring, the vines of the oasis grab them. After Carpet rescues the animals, the three go back to the palace. Meanwhile, Jasmine gets angry at Aladdin for not asking her what she wants, believing that he's taking her for granted. When Aladdin, Jasmine, and Genie get to the door of the palace, Abu, Iago, and Carpet come back. Aladdin asks them where they've been and they say that they haven't been anywhere.
Then, a yak comes to the palace. The rider of the yak is a barbarian man named Uncouthma, who is a prince of a place called Odiferous. He seems to love Jasmine and the princess pretends to be in love with him to make Aladdin jealous. Uncouthma carries Jasmine to the Sultan. He brings the Sultan gifts from his home, which are thousand year old pickled vulture eggs.
Meanwhile, Aladdin and Genie are at the palace garden, with Aladdin wondering what he did wrong and Genie plucking petals from flowers. Meanwhile at another part of the garden, Iago is making Abu practice fighting the oasis vines by using pink tulips. Aladdin and Genie see what they're doing. Aladdin asks them what they are up to and Iago says that they're not up to anything. Everyone then sees Uncouthma building a tent. Aladdin again tries to tell Uncouthma that he is already engaged to Jasmine, but Uncouthma still does not understand and says that they must now have a battle, but before the fight even begins Jasmine shows up and stops them. The princess then invites Uncouthma to have dinner with her and the Sultan, making Aladdin even more depressed than he was before and is now worried that he might really lose Jasmine.
Abu and Iago are back at the Forbidden Oasis. Abu is trying to cut the vines with a sword, but the vines take the sword and throw it at the animals. At sunset, Aladdin talks to Uncouthma. In order to make Uncouthma offend Jasmine and the Sultan, Aladdin tells him that the customs in Agrabah are similar to the customs in Odiferous. He tells him that they put fish on their heads and pour drinks to the people next to them. At dinner, Uncouthma does everything Aladdin said, but Aladdin's plan backfires when he sees that Jasmine and Sultan are actually enjoying the dinner.
When Uncouthma gets back in his tent, Abu and Iago hatch a plan of making Uncouthma cut the vines off the Oasis. Soon after Uncouthma goes to the Oasis with his yak, Iago and Abu are happy that they may finally get the treasure however unknown to them, Carpet overheard the whole plan and tells Aladdin and the others. The gang goes to the Oasis to rescue Uncouthma. Aladdin and Jasmine scold Iago for using Unouthma, but after Genie reminds the two of how they used him, they both realize their mistakes and apologize to each other. However, Aladdinn states that Uncouthma is the one who deserves an apology.
As the gang arrive at the oasis they find the yak trapped by the vines. After Aladdin rescues the yak, Uncouthma shows up cutting the vines. When Uncouthma gives the vines to Jasmine, they begin to grow and curl themselves around her body. Aladdin goes save the princess but gets himself caught in the vines as well. As Carpet tries to free Aladdin, Jasmine gains an idea and throws cheese near the vines, Uncouthma then soon becomes upset as now he believes that Jasmine has finally "chosen" who she wants to be with. Though Jasmine admits to Uncouthma her love for Aladdin, she reveals that the strong smell of the cheese are causing the vines around to die. With Aladdin now finally freed, he and Jasmine officially reconcile with each other in a hug.
When Abu and Iago struggle to take the ring out of the holes, the ground shakes and reveals that the area is a giant creature with the ring turning out to be a nose ring. Uncouthma defeats the creature by putting one of his smelly cheese in its mouth. The creature shrinks and disappears, leaving the ring behind. As Aladdin and Jasmine embrace each other, Uncoutham is upset as his people expect him to return home with a bride. Aladdin and Jasmine then begin to apologize to Uncouthma for taking advantage of him. Uncouthma accepts their apology and his yak reminds him they must go back to their home, with Uncouthma saying that he will neither have a bride nor cheese. However, Aladdin tells him that he's a hero since he helped defeat the plant monster. The prince tells them that his people will need proof that he defeated the creature and Aladdin suggests that he take the ring as a trophy, but Abu and Iago refuse to give it to him.
Uncouthma says that he doesn't need the ring, which makes Abu and Iago happy, but then he says that he will use the ring for the yak's new collar. Uncouthma and his yak leave with the ring with Aladdin and Jasmine waving farewell to him, while Abu and Iago are upset that they lost their fortunate to a yak.
