This is the Way.
―The Armorer, to the Tribe[src]

The Armorer is a Mandalorian Armorer who appears in the Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian. She is the leader of a Tribe, part of the Children of the Watch.

Background[]

Personality[]

The Armorer is known to be wise, calm, and collected, as well very diplomatic for a Mandalorian. She is extremely devoted to the Way of Mandalore, which forbids Mandalorians from removing their helmets. When Din Djarin confessed to removing his helmet, she declared him no longer a Mandalorian, and banished him from their covert, although there were other Mandalorians that removed their helmets.

The Armorer is very knowledgeable about Mandalorian traditions. She gives guidance to the tribe, including identifying their signets and instructing them about the Way. She is a believer in curses and prophecies, as well believes that beskar belonged to Mandalorians, and was willing to fight for it. She refused to abandon the large cache of armor pieces left behind by deceased or escaped members of the enclave until she had reclaimed what beskar she could. She considered weapons that were made from beskar as taboo, such as a beskar spear, saying that its existence put Mandalorians at risk.

Abilities[]

  • Armor Forging: The Armorer is known for her mastery of forging armor and weapons for her fellow Mandalorians, made from melted beskar.
  • Melee combat: In addition to forging, the Armorer is also a skilled in melee combat, able to take out an entire group of Stormtroopers with only her gravity hammer and magnetic tongs.

Equipment[]

  • Beskar Armor: The Armorer wears a distinct set of Mandalorian armor featuring a gold beskar helmet that has five small horns. The visor is smaller to that of a normal female Mandalorian helmet with more rounded eyeholes instead of the typical angular design. She wears a fur coat with a bronzium finished cuirass alongside heatproof boots, protective gloves, a dark brown kilt, and dark green pants.
  • Armor Forging tools: She uses various tools for forging beskar armor pieces as well for combat. These tools include a cry-furnace, a gravity hammer and magnetic tongs.
