The Baker is a minor character from Disney's 1978 animated short, The Small One.
The Small One[]
The Baker is first seen doing his job; baking cakes and treats when all of a sudden, a boy comes by to ask him if he wants buy his donkey, The Small One but the Baker refuses; stating that he's "a scrawny, undernourished little beast" and that he since his wife's "a healthy size, would rather buy a horse at least" and then, three Merchants come out of nowhere, take him seriously and literally, and start emptying his pockets full of gold coins into one of their sacks while singing their song, dancing, and presenting him with a funny-looking scrawny horse. The horse takes a sudden liking to the baker by licking him but the Baker rejects his way of showing affection to him.
