Trivia[]
- The film's copyright was renewed on December 16, 1957.[1]
- This short marks the first time Mickey would play the role of a conductor. Mickey would go on to conduct in a number of shorts, most notably The Band Concert and Symphony Hour.
- Mickey's hair is seen as scraggly, just like almost every other short when he conducts a band.
- Clarabelle is seen playing the flute but for the first couple of minutes, her flute does not make a noise when she plays it.
- The cow Horace uses as an instrument has the same eyes Clarabelle had in Plane Crazy.
- It's unknown if Horace appears in this short or is absent, but i think he does. It's just that his design is different, and it's also the only short to feature a different Horace design being changed in The Cactus Kid, also one of the only times he doesn't wear a full outfit and being brown.
