The Beak and Barrel is a Pirates of the Caribbean themed lounge set to open in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in 2025.

History

On September 9, 2023, Disney announced that a new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge would be coming to Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom. It was also revealed that the lounge would extend the story of the original Pirates of the Caribbean attraction with more details coming to expand the storyline. In addition to the lounge being announced, amongst the other concepts being announced was a completely reimagined version of the Country Bear Jamboree attraction titled "Country Bear Musical Jamboree" and the addition of the Hatbox Ghost in the Haunted Mansion attraction at Liberty Square.

As shown through concept art, it was revealed that the Barker Bird from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction who used to appear when guests were entering the original Pirates of the Caribbean attraction would return in the lounge after a very long absence. It was also revealed that the lounge would replace the spot where Pirates League used to perform located adjacent to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

The name was formally announced on May 6, 2025, along with storyline information with the parrot taking on the name Rummy and being the parrot companion to the bar's owner, a rumrunner named Captain Marion "Merry" Goldwyn.
