The Beast Man is a character who would have appeared in the unbuilt Museum of the Weird attraction.
Background[]
The Beast Man appears to be a humanoid creature, specifically having the motifs of various animals to represent a taxidermy creature that does not exist. It appears to have the head of a rabbit with two goat-like horns (slightly resembling a jackalope) as well as having each two unique arms - consisting of a claw and an ungulate-like hoof respectively. It also appears as having a pair of hooves for its feet as well as having a pair of butterfly-like wings.
Development[]
The Beast Man originated from the unbuilt Museum of the Weird attraction at Disneyland. It would have appeared with many other original exhibits within the attraction. Although very little is known about this creature, it appears that the Beast Man would have been an animatronic creature in the attraction. However, this attraction was ultimately scrapped.
Printed material[]
Disney Kingdoms: Seekers of the Weird[]
A statue of the Beast Man appeared in the comic book series Seekers Of The Weird, part of the Disney Kingdoms comic line albeit in a non-physical form. This depiction resembles Baphomet, a demon, from Arabic mythology. This makes it the first time the character made a legacy appearance.
