"The Best Doggoned Dog in the World" is an episode of Disneyland which aired on November 20, 1957. It was directed by Robert Stevenson and Larry Lansburgh. This episode provides a preview of Old Yeller, and also features Arizona Sheepdog.
Synopsis[]
Walt shows off his new dog, named Lady, and explains that any dog is worthy of being the best dog of all. The studio is wrapping up production on Old Yeller. One of the movie's stars, Dorothy McGuire, tells some key stories about the movie, as a preview. The remainder of the show features the 1955 theatrical film Arizona Sheepdog.

- The show was updated in 1961 to include Walt Disney narrating some scenes from the upcoming One Hundred and One Dalmatians, replacing Old Yeller.
