"The Bird Who Knew Too Much" is the second segment of the ninth episode of Vampirina. It premiered on October 23, 2017 alongside "Vampire Weekend".
Synopsis[]
When Vee and Poppy’s class pet comes to stay at the Scare B&B, they have to stop the bird from revealing too much about the haunted house to Poppy’s brother, Edgar.
Plot[]
Vampirina, Poppy, and Edgar like their parrot named Kiwi, as she is smart and cute. Edgar mentions that Mr. Gore said parrots learn words they hear as he takes pictures. Edgar only has Kiwi for a weekend, so he has to make an epic parrot video. Just then, Oxana and Edna arrive, as it is time for Edgar's saxophone lesson. Edgar decides to bring Kiwi along, but Edna suggests to keep Kiwi around. However, Vampirina, Poppy, and Edgar decide to watch her, as she's their class pet, as well.
With Demi watching, Vampirina, Poppy, and Edgar play with Kiwi in the backyard. Demi thinks that pets don't talk, but Kiwi says the same, and Demi tells Gregoria of such. Gregoria knows so much about parrots because she is a rooftop ornament. Vampirina decides for everyone to get to know Kiwi. Then Kiwi flies with Demi and Vampirina and goes through Demi in the process. Then she chases Gregoria, causing him to trip and fall onto the fence. Gregoria is stuck and is unable to be freed. Vampirina and Poppy think there has to be a way to get Gregoria unstuck, and mention the different options. Vampirina decides for Oxana and Boris to free Gregoria just as Edgar arrives. Vampirina then decides for Demi to get Oxana and Boris while she and Poppy make sure Edgar stays inside.
Vampirina and Poppy give Kiwi to Edgar. Kiwi talks about Demi the ghost and other things. Edgar mentions that Kiwi only repeats what she hears, and decides to get his camera. Boris can't free Gregoria. Oxana tries to magic, but the fence itself moves. Vampirina then suggests monster slime, and Oxana decides to make it. Vampirina tells Gregoria that she's feeling good about the slime.
After the slime is ready, Edgar tells Oxana and Boris about Kiwi repeating everything she heard. He states that he'll get it all on camera. Kiwi then flies away. As Boris keeps an eye on Edgar, Oxana gives the slime to Vampirina so Gregoria can be freed. However, the slime goes all over Gregoria. Vampirina, Poppy, Demi, and Oxana try to pull Gregoria free to no avail. Kiwi hears about Demi calling a troll as he continues to be chased. Wolfie joins in. Edgar thinks the gargoyle and the troll are outside, but Boris doesn't think so. However, Edgar hears it, and Kiwi follows it upstairs.
Not even the troll's help can free Gregoria. Then Wolfie licks Gregoria, as he wants to help. Vampirina says that if the whole family helps, Gregoria may be freed, as the more monsters, the better. Vampirina tells Demi to keep an eye on Edgar. Oxana decides to round up the family. Kiwi talks about being stuck in a fence forever, and Edgar hears it and goes to the backyard. Demi informs everyone that Edgar is coming. With everyone's help, Gregoria gets freed from the fence. Just as Edgar arrives, everyone hides. Vampirina and Poppy tell him that there haven't been any monsters at all, and that they were singing an old Transylvanian song that Kiwi heard. Edgar thought something spooky was going on, and leaves. Gregoria mentions that if she'd really be stuck, she'd be stuck with all of his friends.
