The Curse of Molly McGee is an upcoming animated buddy comedy, that will be created by Bill Motz and Bob Roth.[1]
Premise
The series follows Molly, an optimistic tween, who lives to make the world a better place, and a grumpy ghost named Scratch, whose joy comes from spreading misery. When one of Scratch’s spells backfires, he finds himself forever cursed in Molly's presence.[1]

News of the series was first announced on June 23, 2019 by senior vice president Animation Strategy, Meredith Roberts Quill. Emmy® Award-winning duo Bill Motz and Bob Roth will serve as executive producers with Emmy Award-winner Steve Loter.
Disney Television Animation studio has added to its roster of world-class talent, securing overall development deals with top animation creators and artists including Bruce Smith, Jeff Howard, Kate Kondell, Stevie Wermers, Kevin Deters, Howy Parkins, Amy Higgins, Devin Bunje, Nick Stanton, Noah Z. Jones, Mike Roth, John Infantino, Jeremy Shipp, Ryan Gillis, Steve Marmel, Natasha Kline, and Sabrina Cotugno.
