The Davis's Family Van is a turquoise van, driven by Andy's Mom, Mrs. Davis, in Disney/Pixar's Toy Story films and shorts.
Appearances
Toy Story
In the first Toy Story film, Mrs. Davis is tired after packing and plans to take Andy and Molly out for dinner at Pizza Planet. While Woody thinks that he will be chosen, Buzz accidentally falls out the window into the bushes between the house and Sid's house. Shortly later, Andy has no memory of losing Buzz, but brings Woody along instead. Moments later, Buzz emerges from the bushes and climbs onto the bumper of the family minivan. After the family has stopped at the Dinoco gas station, Woody is surprised to see Buzz drop in from the sunroof after Andy and his mother have left, but then a fight ensues and the two are left behind, shocking Woody. Later that night, after the family has returned home from Pizza Planet, Andy has no memory of losing Woody at the Dinoco gas station behind in the family minivan, unware that Woody and Buzz are at Sid's house next door.
Two days later, the Davis family is moving, and after Woody and the Mutant Toys celebrate by teaching Sid a lesson, Buzz is rescued and they are nearly run over by the moving truck, but then Sid's vicious dog, Scud, pursues them without being noticed until both the minivan and the moving truck stop at a red light, where Woody finds RC Car and sends him to Buzz to catch up with Scud in pursuit, but Woody falls behind after Scud is trapped after several cars crash around him at another intersection. Meanwhile, Molly laughs up front and does not realize everything after RC's batteries have ran out, and then Woody lights a rocket strapped to Buzz (which had been taped on by Sid the night before) and then they soar through the sky while RC lands in the back of the moving truck and land through the minivan's sunroof in the back seat, where Andy joyfully finds them and his mother thinks that they were inside for the whole time.
Toy Story 2
In the second Toy Story film, Mrs. Davis tells Andy that he's ready for Cowboy Camp, but Andy tells his mother that he has accidentally ripped Woody's arm, so instead of fixing Woody on the way to Cowboy Camp, the sheriff is left behind at home and watches dejectedly as Andy and his family leave. Sometime later, Woody announces everyone in the room that Andy has returned early and as he picks up Woody, he realizes that he's broken and declares that he doesn't want to play with him anymore and throws him in the trash and Woody wakes up, realizing that everything was all just a bad dream.
The minivan appears again at the end of the film when Andy returns home from camp at night, where he finds that Jessie, Bullseye and the Little Green Men have been adopted into his toy family. The next day, he carefully walks Molly out to the minivan accompanied by their family dog, Buster after Andy has finally fixed Woody.
Toy Story 3
The minivan does not appear in this film; however, it has been replaced by a 1st generation Toyota Highlander.
