Plot[]
Early one morning, while the Sultan is sleeping, Iago sneaks into his bathroom and takes a bath. He then puts the Sultan's bath oils on himself but is caught by Razoul. Everyone is in the throne room trying to get Iago to explain himself sneaking into the bathroom. Iago explains that Aladdin said it was okay to use the Bath. Al gets mad at Iago for trying to pass the blame to him, but Iago says if Al didn't live in that dirty Hovel, He wouldn't have had to sneak in. He then talks about his days living in the palace and the Luxuries he had: Caviar, manicures and a reclining chair that vibrates.
Just then, Hakim shows up with a disturbing message for the Sultan from Abis Mal, saying by now the Sultan has noticed he's turning to stone as he has been cleverly cursed by a turn-a-man-to-stone spell that only Mal has the cure for and unless the Sultan gives Mal the throne in exchange for the cure, he will be stone by nightfall. When the Sultan asks how he was cursed, A "P.S." reveals that Mal cursed the Sultan's bath oils. The Sultan is relieved that he hasn't bathed yet, but Iago screams in horror because he used the bath oils, so he will turn to stone and begins panicking. Aladdin points out that Iago is fine and thinks that Abis Mal was just bluffing. Iago, convinced that Aladdin's right feels better, until his tail turns into stone, proving that the curse is real.
Aladdin makes Genie come out of his lamp. Genie sees Iago's stoned tail and thinks he's trying a new look. After being informed on the situation, he reads a book that says that a Rock Efreet's venom turns someone into stone and Jasmine realizes that Abis Mal put the venom in her father’s bath oils. The scene cuts to Abis Mal's lair. Abis Mal plans to take over Agrabah without confronting Genie. Back to the throne room, everyone's trying to cure Iago, but every single attempt fails. A few minutes later, everyone tells Iago that there's nothing they can do to cure the parrot. The unhappy Iago slumps out of the palace, while Aladdin tries to figure out a way to cure him.
Iago goes to Abis Mal and Haroud and tells them that he's the one who will be turning into stone and not the Sultan because he used the bath oils. Abis Mal isn't happy about this detour in his plan, but Haroud tells him that he hates Genie more than everything. Abis Mal tells Iago to bring him Genie if he wants the antidote to cure him. Iago initially refuses to do so, but then his right wing turns to stone and then he reluctantly decides to bring him Genie.
Meanwhile, Aladdin and Genie see the mystic to purchase something that will cure Iago. The mystic tells them that the scale of the Rock Efreet can break the spell. She gives them a large horn to blow on so that the Rock Efreet shows up. When Aladdin does so, the Rock Efreet escapes Abis Mal's lair. The mystic tells Aladdin that he shouldn't blow the horn inside her place because the Rock Efreet will get mad and poison him. The Rock Efreet shows up and chases Aladdin. While Genie tries to stop it, he runs into a wall and melts down. Iago sees Genie and puts him in his lamp. After the Rock Efreet gets lodged in the throne, Aladdin puts it in a cage and gets its powdered scale. Abu gives him a note from Iago that says that the parrot will trade Genie to Abis Mal for the antidote. Shocked, Aladdin and Abu jump on Carpet to go find Iago.
While Iago is on his way to Abis Mal's lair, he decides that he can't betray Genie. But then Abis Mal grabs the lamp and shows the parrot that Aladdin, Abu, and Carpet are in a cage. Aladdin gets angry at Iago for betraying Genie and Iago denies it, but he doesn't believe him. Iago's eyebrows turn to stone and begs Abis Mal for the antidote. Abis Mal tells him that since the Rock Efreet escaped, he doesn't have the antidote. Iago's beak turns to stone. Aladdin throws the Rock Efreet's powdered scale to Iago, but just as he catches it, his entire body (except for his left foot) turns to stone. While Abis Mal is happy about finally taking over Agrabah, Abu shows Aladdin that Iago's left foot is moving towards Genie's lamp, knocking it down. Genie comes out of his lamp and tells Aladdin that Iago didn't betray his friends.
Genie then gives Abis Mal the horn that calls the Rock Efreet, claiming that it summons undead minions. Genie then zaps Aladdin, Abu, and Carpet out of the cage. When Abis blows the horn, the Rock Efreet shows up and chases him. He then bites Abis Mal in the butt and his nose turns to stone. Everyone is now fighting for Iago holding the scale.
It's almost sunset and Aladdin gets Iago, removes the scale from his hand, and pours it on the parrot. Iago is now back to his normal self. Abis Mal sees that the vial is out of scale and he chases the Rock Efreet to give him some. Everyone laughs as Abis Mal is still struggling to get the Rock Efreet's scales while chasing it through the desert.
