The Dogcatcher is the quaternary antagonist (replacing the Stray Dogs in the climax) of Disney's 1955 film Lady and the Tramp, and the secondary antagonist in its 2001 sequel film. In the original film, he was introduced as the tertiary antagonist, but this was outranked by Si and Am, the true tertiary villains. He is voiced by Lee Millar in first movie and Jeff Bennett in the second movie.
Appearances
Lady and the Tramp
In the first film, Aunt Sarah called him to get Tramp and take him away. In the end, he is stopped by Jock and Trusty.
Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure
He was seen with Buster and the other junkyard dogs trying to throw his hat around. At first, it looked like he captured Buster; however, he escaped and got the best of him. Later, the Dogcatcher caught Reggie after he was chasing Scamp and Angel. Eventually, due to Buster's actions, he captured Scamp without a collar, having him sent to the pound. In the end, he was defeated by Angel.
Comics
In one of the Disney adventure comics, he also ended up arrested when, while trying to hunt down Scamp and Angel, accidentally put his dog-catching net on a bunch of wigs at a wig shop and on the wig shop owner.
