The Dropout is a biographical drama miniseries that was released on Hulu on March 3, 2022 and ran for eight episodes. It is based on the ABC News Podcast of the same name hosted by Rebecca Jarvis, itself chronicling the real life events surrounding Elizabeth Holmes and her fraudulent company Theranos.

The miniseries follows the rise and subsequent fall of Elizabeth Holmes, a woman who started the company Theranos, who claimed to have developed a method of reading vitals from a single drop of blood, only for it all to be outed as fraud.
