"The Endless Sleepover" is the first segment of the fourth episode of Ariel. It premiered on June 28, 2024 alongside "Daddy Daughter Dinner" on Disney+ before making its Disney Jr. and Disney Channel premiere on July 5, 2024.
Plot[]
Ariel, Fernie, Lucia, and Flounder are excited for their sleepover at Ursula's room. Ariel tells Flounder what is done at a sleepover. Later, they arrive at Ursula's room. Ursula then appears, with the others ready for their sleepover. King Triton tells them that they will have lots of fun and he wants all of them in bed when it's bedtime when the clock strikes nine o'clock, as everyone needs their sleep. Ursula promises Triton that will happen.
Ursula then goes to get some snacks while Ariel and her friends have fun. First, Fernie does shadow puppets. This is followed by Ariel drawing different things and Flounder and Lucia playing pretend. They then have their snacks before playing freeze dance. Ursula then arrives and tells them to start getting ready for bed before giving them tooth sponges. Although they don't want it to end, it's almost bedtime. Ariel wishes bedtime would never come, and after Ursula mentions it, she decides to stop time.
Ursula can stop time, but warns Ariel that a never-ending sleepover might not be as fun as she thinks. Ursula then whips up a potion that freezes time, as well as all of the fish. Ariel and her friends are excited about it, and they continue their sleepover. Eventually, they run out of energy. Flounder then decides to go to bed, although it's not bedtime yet. Ariel, Fernie, and Lucia continue their drawings, and Fernie then goes to bed. Later, while trying to pinch Ariel, Lucia goes to sleep. Ariel decides to keep the sleepover going, even if she has to do it herself.
She then continues dancing when Ursula comes. She sees what's happening, and restates the lesson she taught Ariel. Ariel tells Ursula what happened, and Ursula tells her that she learned an important lesson: it's okay for fun things to come to an end because everyone needs their sleep. After Ariel states she's ready for bedtime, Ursula resumes the time, and Ariel goes to sleep with the others when it is bedtime while thanking Ursula for a fun night. Ursula then gets Ariel a blanket during the sleep.
