The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come is the last of three ghosts that haunts Ebenezer Scrooge in The Muppet Christmas Carol, based on the A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
Background[]
Physical appearance[]
Like with other adaptations, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come is portrayed as a tall specter that is robed in darkened clothing with a hood. Despite this, his face cannot be seen and it appears to just be a black hole. Another noticeable thing about this version of the character is that his body is stumpier looking and his hands are solid grey as opposed to being skeletal
Personality[]
The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come does not speak and is only interested in showing Scrooge the results of the future should he not change his ways. He acts fairly neutral compared to the last two spirits and is not as sinister compared to his other portrayals.
Trivia[]
- When the film was being developed, the role of the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come was going to be played by Gonzo with his nose poking out of the hood.
- He's the specter that scares Gonzo and Rizzo the Rat so much that they duck out of the movie briefly.
