"The Golden Zebra" is the fortieth episode of the Disney Jr. animated series The Lion Guard. It premiered on January 9, 2018, and is the fourteenth episode in the second season.
Plot[]
The Dry Season is putting the Pride Lands through a drought. Simba consults with Rafiki and Makini for a solution. Rafiki tells him that there's one watering hole big enough for everyone in the Pride Lands. Makini reveals it's in the Back Lands and that it belongs to Dhahabu's Zebra Herd. Simba dispatches the Lion Guard to get Dhahabu's permission for the Pride Landers to use it.
The Lion Guard arrives in the Back Lands. They quickly run into Makucha, due to being in his territory. After driving him off they arrive in Dhahabu's territory. They give Dhahabu Simba's request. Dhahabu says she will if they get her herd a Tamboa Plant. The Guard sets out to find one.
After they finally find the Tamboa Plant, they bring the rare plant back to Dhahabu's Grove. Dhahabu calls off the deal though. Ono reveals it's because the watering hole is dry due to a blockage. After scolding the golden zebra for hiding this, the Guard and Dhahabu set out to unblock the water. They get ambushed by Makucha and his friends. They drive him off and unblock the water. Dhahahbu gives the Pride Landers her permission to use her herd's watering hole.
