"The Goopopolis Swindle" is the second segment of the sixty-first episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on October 24, 2017 alongside "How to Build a Better Villain", and is the second segment of the seventh episode of the third season.

Plot[]

Miles, Haruna, Loretta, and Mirandos take the red space jet to Blodger's home planet, Bloppsburgh. Haruna and Mirandos like the planet. Once there, Blodger appears on top of the curtains covering Blodger's statue. Blodger tells Mission Force One that the statue is coming along goopendously.

He then shows the team a sneak peek of the statue called the Goopopolis Blobument, which features some of the most important blobbers in history. Over the last 600 years, all kinds of artists have worked on the blobument, and Blodger finishes it. He says that the statue is made of 100% staridium. This is one of the rarest and strongest metals in the galaxy, which is why the statue had to be kept hidden until now. Blodger then covers the blobument, as it is ready for the unveiling tomorrow.

Mission Force One then gets to bed, as they are to be up super early. The Blopps say good night to Mission Force One. Later in the morning, Malison appears while riding two striker bots. She then sees the blobument, and informs Commander Nemex and Aggro of such. Nemex and Aggro tells Malison that she is a genius. Malison tells them about the statue being made entirely of staridium. To get off the planet without being spotted, Malison recaps that there are no security cameras. Even if a ship spots her on the way out, she has ways of dealing with them. More striker bots appear, after being called by Malison, who says that the great Goopopolis Swindle is on, and steal the blobument with Malison stating that stealing art is truly an art. She the makes off with her ship, which makes it to the thundership, which then makes off.

The next morning, Bobble welcomes everyone to the grand unveiling of the Goopopolis blobument. Miles has never seen a crowd that big. Bobble then gives a history of Bloppsburgh artists throughout history, including Blodger, before unveiling the statue. However, the statue is gone. Mirandos realizes that due to how heavy it is, someone must have stolen it. Miles then tells Mission Force One that their new mission is to find and return the Goopopolis blobument. The team then performs their signature catchphrase and activates their recruit suits' mission mode, impressing the Bloppsburgh residents.

With Mission Force One on the Zenith, Loretta tells Zeno to check last night's security footage for any starships in the area, and Zeno found one: a Nemesystems thundership. The camera zooms in to reveal Malison, who stole the Goopopolis blobument. Since she works for Commander Nemex, she must have stolen it for him. Haruna decides to follow the thundership just as the Zenith approaches it. Zeno then tells the team that there is an incoming call from the thundership.

Once Malison calls, Miles tells her that the statue won't be hers for long. It's not the statue Nemex wants. He wants it for what it's made of, the staridium. Nemex has some big plans for the staridium. Mission Force One intends to stop the plans and stop her. Malison then leaves behind a trail of fog, forcing Mission Force One to slow down the Zenith. They then see three thunderships. Loretta will stay on the Zenith, Mirandos and Haruna will take the gold space jet, and Miles will go with Blodger, M.E.R.C., and Sheldon in the red space jet.

Malison immediately sees the red space jet following her, and decides to stop the ship with FlashPulses. While the striker bots take the blobument into a different Nemesystems factory, Malison tells Nemex and Aggro that she was followed, but that was nothing she couldn't handle. She then tells them that the statue will soon be melted down and used to make a battalion of super strong striker bots, those that Mission Force One will not be able to smash apart, making Nemesystems unstoppable.

Since the red space jet's boosters are fried, M.E.R.C. and Sheldon decide to use their boosters to make the jet head to where the thundership headed off to. Blodger tells the rest of Mission Force One that they found Malison and sends them the coordinates. Miles then heads into the factory and tells Malison to stop. Malison says that one person's statue is another's super strong robot army. Miles and Blodger deactivate the striker bots that Malison sent to stop them.

Malison then pulls the lever to activate the conveyor belt. Miles tries to use his blast shield to turn it off, but misses, and it burns up. He tries to use his Lazerang, but two striker bots take it away. Getting creative, Blodger shapeshifts into a Lazerang for Miles to throw. He does so, and Blodger hits the lever, stopping the conveyor belt just in time. The rest of Mission Force One arrives and Loretta says that Malison is outnumbered. Malison then escapes from the team. Although that happened, Mission Force One saved the blobument, completing the mission. As Blodger decides for the team to get the blobument to Bloppsburgh, Malison tells Nemex and Aggro that no one really needs striker bots made out of staridium, except for Nemex and Aggro, who will continue their search for staridium.

Bobble then thanks Mission Force One for returning the Goopopolis blobument back where it belongs, with extra strong anchors holding it to the ground. Bobble then unveils the statue, impressing the Goopopolis residents. Blodger thanks Mission Force One for returning the Goopopolis statue, as it means so much to Goopopolis, and they are the best friends a blob could hope for. Miles tells him that the team is more than friends, and they're family.
